README INFORMATION

This is a simple application was written in Borland's Delphi 7.

Is uses  Microsoft's Speech Engine (SAPI 5.1) and some Multimedia Features of Win32.

The "Geburtstagskalender" (="Birthday Reminder") allows you to record yearly events
in a table, which can be updated by a simple dialogue. Several days before or after an event
the program informs you and gives noise. It also reads the events aloud if you have
a synthetic voice installed (e. g. Microsoft Sam or Mary or Loquendos voices http://www.loquendo.com).

It was built for private purposes only and it is not allowed to be used for commercial purposes.
