# LieRing

A GAP4 package containing functions for constructing Lie rings, and working
with them.
The main functionality of interest concerns:
* Constructing finitely-presented Lie rings.
* Performing the Lazard correspondence.
* A small database of "largest" n-Engel Lie rings.
The installation of the package is done according to the usual procedure for
installing GAP packages. There are no external binaries. So one way to
install the package is to unwrap the archive of the package in the pkg
directory of your GAP distribution. After that the package can be loaded with
LoadPackage("liering");
The documentation is contained in the `doc` directory.
